We didn’t experience totality in Lake Oswego, but living here has its perks and being able to take part in the festivities going around the lake was really special! The city itself threw a very cool party at Sundaleaf Plaza and there were a lot of people there as well as in all of the Lake Oswego waterfront homes and view condos around Lakewood Bay.
In fact, after the eclipse had cycled, we took our boat through Half Moon Bay and into the Main Lake and there were more boats than usual – it even seemed busier than Fourth Of July! Everyone came out to see this amazing unique site! This was the highlight of summer’s end for us as the Lake Oswego School District gears up for class next week!
